NEEDLECRAFT COTTAGE is located in Wears Valley, just outside of beautiful Cades Cove,  six miles from Townsend and 9.2 miiles from traffic light 3 in Pigeon Forge.  Our hours are 9:30 to 5:00 Monday through Saturday.  Closed on Sundays.  However, if you need us to stay longer than 5:00 or even come in on Sunday, just call 865-428-7044, and one of us will be there in a jiffy.  The rockers on our porch are waiting for your significant other to relax in while you are shopping in the NEEDLECRAFT COTTAGE.

Once again we are gearing up for the huge summer crowds.  We have new books and patterns and will be ordering more in the next few weeks.  We are closing out our punch-needle department and monks cloth, so you will see large mark-downs in these departments.  We still have a good supply of the ruffles yarns for the scarves that are so popular now.  They are not on sale, but we try to keep a variety of colors on hand. The Utopia yarn:  4-ply, sport and baby yarn are selling at 'buy two, get one free.'  This is an excellent yarn, but the company is now out of business, so be sure and get enough to finish your project.  Our yarn department is undergoing great changes. Something is always on sale. We are selling out of a lot of our current stock and getting in new brands.

Some other items on sale and listed on our Needlework on Sale page or catalog page are the MarBek Angel Collection, military emblems and vehicles, airplanes, and space shuttle.  For you puzzle lovers, we have a new puzzle by the Mayes Family Photographers.  Just click on the "What's New" Page.

NEWS FLASH:  We have many back issues of Stoney Creek Magazine, and we're selling them now for $2.99 each.  Regular price is $4.99.  Check out our "Needlework on Sale" page for the issues we have.  Naturally, supplies are limited.

For those of you who like macrame, you might want to check out my macrame books.  They are from my collection all those years ago when macrame was the craze.  However, they are still in good condition and reasonably priced.  You can click  on the "What's New" Page to see them.  Check out our new Fantasy page in the counted cross-stitch section.

Our supply of  Elmore Crochet books which are out of print and in great demand is dwindling fast. NeedleCraft Cottage is selling them for the cover price of $9.99.  Get yours while you still can.    I am told they are selling on Ebay for $49.00.

The big news now is that the Mayes Family Photographers are setting up a photo gallery in the back room of NeedleCraft Cottage.  Their photos are of the finest quality, being printed on heavy professional grade, non-acidic Epson photoraphic papers and photo canvas.  Many of the photos are printed on canvas gallery wrap stretched onto single panels or elegant sets on handmade frames. This is the latest trend requiring no matting or framing.  The photos are lightweight and simple to hang for anyone.  This process also makes the photos look as if they were painted.

So tell your friends to check out these photos.  You will find that they are reasonably priced and positively beautiful.  Most of the photos are of scenery or wildlife in the Smokies.  However, photos from recent trips out west are also included.

NEEDLECRAFT COTTAGE is located just outside the Great Smoky National Park.  Stop and visit us on your way to Cades Cove.  You can browse throughout the store while your companions sit on our rockers and enjoy the view from our spacious front porch.  Connie and Joyce will help you find whatever you need.  In fact, we love to help you with projects and teach you something new.  We will even teach you to tat in five minutes.  Tell us who you are and where you are from.
