Tatting
Needle & Shuttle

books and supplies

Tatting with a needle dates back to the 1800's in England, but more people became familiar with shuttle tatting. It's popularity grew because the aristocracy had jewels mounted on their shuttles and it was more elegant. However, Needle tatting is easier to learn and faster to do than shuttle tatting. There is no difference between the two in the end results.

We have all the supplies you need for both needle and shuttle tatting. Click on books, thread, shuttles, and tatting cards to view our selection.
